Our membership is for family historians with a lifetime’s experience or none at all. You’ll have access to rich materials and data that are available nowhere else, expert full-time genealogists, an ever-growing library of talks, and a member community of great people who can advise and guide you when you get stuck (we all get stuck.)
Volunteer
Our generous and talented volunteers keep the Society going. They come from all walks of life and are vital to all areas of our operations. They also work on a range of special projects to help preserve our collections for future generations.

Donate
We are a registered charity with no government funding. We rely on memberships, donations, legacies and grants to survive as an organisation and to ensure that our collections survive for future generations.
