Running over 10 days from Wednesday 7th to Friday 16th October, All About That Place is packed with over 100 recorded 10-minute talks on genealogy and local history. You’ll learn research techniques, social history, tools, websites, archives, record keeping tips, ways of creating and sharing your findings… and much, much more!
Plus, throughout the event, you’ll be supported in putting your learning into action by completing challenge activities.
All the All About That Place talks will be in the Learning Hub. We also plan to have supportive community packed with organisations, event speakers, exclusive competitions, and more!
Each day has a theme, here’s the schedule for this year:
Optional paid talks and workshop inspired by All About That Place. These separately bookable events are not part of the free All About That Place programme. The three one-hour talks cost £10 each and are included with Gold membership. The two-hour workshop costs £20, or £16 for SoG members.
