Hannah Stamp is an Archivist at the East Riding Archives and Local Studies service, which collects, preserves and makes accessible the documented heritage of the East Riding from the 12th century to the present day. Using the archives' collections, she has been able to research her own East Yorkshire roots. The East Riding Archives are an accredited archive service managed by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. www.eastridingarchives.co.uk
Else Churchill is the Genealogist at the Society of Genealogists in London. Formerly a professional genealogical librarian and researcher, Else has worked for the SoG since 1994. She is the Society’s subject lead, working across the organisation and runs the publishing programme. She was the recipient of the IHGS Julian Bickersteth Memorial Medal in 2023 for her exemplary contribution to family history studies.
Martin has worked within the heritage sector since 2011 and is the current Development Manager at the Historic Towns Trust. Prior to this he has worked as Partnerships Team Leader at Historic England and as a project manager for the Science Museum Group. Before this he has held curatorial roles at the Ripon Museums Trust, Royal Armouries and Craven Museum Gallery, after starting his heritage career in Indonesia working with UNESCO.
