Railwayman, Paul Stanford recounts his family railway history from 1862 to the present day, from the early days of the railways, through the expansion of the Cadbury Bournville railway system, then onwards through Gloucestershire into Bristol, then on into the West.
Featuring GWR, LMS and British Rail steam locomotives, BR diesel locomotives and industrial steam and diesel locomotives, with many insights into signal boxes, factories and rail depots that the family worked at along the way.
Paul’s illustrated talk will have many photographs never before seen, with amusing railway anecdotes from the last 150 years.
