This is an exciting time for the Society of Genealogists as it seeks to shape a future with, at its core, a committed desire to playing a central role in the development of genealogy in the UK, for professionals and amateurs alike.

To help achieve the Society’s potential, we are interested in hearing from people who would like to become trustees. All we ask of trustees is that they bring their knowledge and passion to the challenge. In return, we can offer an opportunity to help shape the future of the Society. We welcome applications from anyone who has relevant skills.

The Society is particular interest in finding someone who is willing to take on the role of Treasurer.  They will need to have strong business acumen and an understanding of finances within the not-for-profit sector to take on the role.

We are also seeking a trustee with up-to-date marketing experience in a membership context.
