He recently completed an MSc from the University of Strathclyde, and is undertaking a Diploma in the History of Medicine at the Society of Apothecaries. John’s primary research interests lie in the historical lives of healthcare workers, especially dentists.

Her mission is to tell authentic stories that challenge stereotypes and reshape how people view the region and its people.

Thomas Preece is a genealogist and web developer from Bristol. His research interests include family history in Devon, Glamorgan and Staffordshire, and the history of music in the constructed language Esperanto.
Zoe Pullman
Zoe Pullman is a family historian from Aotearoa New Zealand, currently based in Leeds. With a background in academic research, she now runs her own business called The Family Archives, which is all about capturing and preserving family stories for the next generation. Using New Zealand records is her specialty.
Jenni Phillips
Jenni Phillips is a Qualified Genealogist based in Cardiff. She holds an MSc (Distinction) from the University of Strathclyde, and is a member of RQG. Jenni has wide-ranging research interests, but particularly enjoys projects focused on South Wales and South-West England.
Sarah Pettyfer
Sarah Pettyfer is a professional family, house and local historian based in Surrey. Chair of AGRA and a tutor at the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies, she specialises in legal and manorial records. A former family law solicitor, she authored Tracing Your Surrey Ancestors (Pen & Sword).
