Kyla Bayang
As the Genealogy Librarian for the Lone Star College – Tomball Community Library, sees her role as inspiring the next generation of family history enthusiasts by helping individuals preserve their unique stories. This perspective motivates her work overseeing the institution’s research collections and community preservation initiatives. She also direct the county digital conversion media lab-guiding patrons in the preservation of historical family media-and develop educational programming on genealogical methodology at the college level and generalized workshops for the public.
Veronica Bell
Veronica works in the National Library of Scotland’s Maps Department as a Maps Assistant. Local and family history is a popular topic for map based enquiries, and she presents an online Researching Your House’s History Tutorial throughout the year.
Rachel Barrett
Rachel is a researcher specialising in nineteenth-century Poor Law in relation to London and the Irish. She has delivered numerous talks on the New Poor Law, and co-curated the Lost Victorian City and Londoners on Trial exhibitions at The London Archives. Her current research explores the removal of Irish paupers from London.
Denise Bascom
When Denise was a teen, she was gifted a historical family tree, which led her to become an evidence-based genealogist. She recently graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho and is preparing to be accredited as an AG in African American research and aims to become a “Genetic Geni”.
Emilia Bolton
Emilia is a recently qualified archivist who has volunteered at several archives in the Bedfordshire area. In her spare time, she is passionate about researching her family history using the knowledge that she has gained on her course and many volunteering experiences.
Debbie Bradley
Debbie Bradley is a professional genealogist and speaker. She is a member of AGRA and Administrator of the Family History Federation. Her own family history search has taken her all around the UK as well as into Germany. Her passion is exploring the stories our forebears never told us.
Steve Brown
Steve Brown is an author residing in Australia. He is the author of ten internationally published military history works, with some fiction projects in progress. He regularly presents podcasts on military history topics to history buffs and genealogical associations.
Masen Brandon
Masen Brandon specializes in researching Scandinavian & Pacific Northwestern families. On entering genealogy, his background was in translation (Danish) and fiction & essay writing. Masen is the instructor of Family History 101 at the University of Utah, and completed certificates at IIGS while dabbling in the self-created Rikheim one-name study.
Helen Baggott
Helen has researched hundreds of postcards, using genealogy to reveal their stories. She has written several books in the Posted in the Past series and is now researching the sequel to Memories from the Future – genealogical novels where each character is found in official documents. She is an international speaker
Elizabeth Burling (LWMFHS)
A long-standing family historian, Elizabeth writes research guides and is currently chair at London Westminster & Middlesex Family History Society, a volunteer not for profit group which helps people find their ancestors in much of North London.
