An overview of the UNESCO-recognised Aberdeen City & Aberdeenshire Archives which collects, preserves and makes publicly available many diverse collections of records relating to the northeast of Scotland. These include many resources useful to genealogists such as those relating to education and poor relief, as well as privately deposited records including the historical records of the Port of Aberdeen and Grampian Police.
