In October 2025, Anthony Atkins, Crystal Lorimor, and Jason Garczyk introduced “Original Owners of the Northwest Territories, a GIS site that created a GIS map to navigate the patents for the Old Seven Ranges. He has now added patents for all of Ohio’s survey areas, consisting of roughly 98% of the BLM/GLO records. In his talk, Anthony will focus on the Donation Tracts and the Ohio Company Patents, as these records are not maintained by BLM/GLO, and this may be the first time they’re digitized and accessible.
